A New Chapter for Lorenzo
This year the studio has grown in a direction we did not entirely plan for.
What began as bespoke commissions for private residences now includes hospitality work at a scale that demanded a second workshop and a larger design team. Three new collaborations are under way with architectural practices in Dubai and London, each starting at the drawing stage rather than after the ceilings were set – which is where lighting decisions actually belong.
The collections continue. But the centre of gravity has moved toward work that is designed once, for one building, and never repeated.
