From Concept to Installation
A bespoke commission passes through more hands than most clients expect.
It starts with a conversation about the building, not the fitting: ceiling heights, sightlines, how the space is used at different hours. From there the studio produces sketches and a scale study, and only once those are agreed does anything get made.
Production takes between eight and sixteen weeks depending on the piece. Installation is the shortest stage and the one most likely to go wrong, which is why our own specialists do it rather than a contractor working from a diagram.
